description
LIGHT FOR NORMAL OPERATION AND EMERGENCY OPERATION
The invention relates to a lamp for normal operation and emergency operation.
A lighting arrangement is known from the prior art, on the one hand includes lights for general lighting and on the other hand special emergency lights for an emergency operation of the lighting arrangement, for example, when the normal Stromversor¬gung fails. In emergency mode, the emergency lights can be supplied with emergency power by a corresponding battery. The emergency lights are installed independently of the lights for the general lighting, whereby the installation cost is correspondingly high.
Furthermore, from the prior art, a lighting arrangement with luminaires known, in which the light sources of the lamps, with which the general lighting is generated, are also used to generate the emergency lighting. If the normal power supply fails, the light sources can be supplied by a central battery with emergency power. These lights have optical elements which serve to influence the light generated by the light source, such that the light is suitably delivered for normal lighting. However, this type of light output is usually not suitable for light delivery in an emergency.
The invention has for its object to provide a corresponding improved light. In particular, the light should be particularly suitable for normal operation and emergency operation.
This object is achieved according to the invention with the object mentioned in the independent claim. Particular embodiments of the invention are specified in the dependent claims.
According to the invention, there is provided a luminaire having means for emitting a directional light and means for emitting a diffused light. Furthermore, the luminaire has a control device for controlling the means for emitting a directed light and the means for emitting a diffused light. In this case, the control device is designed, in an emergency operation of the luminaire, to actuate the means for emitting a directed light and the means for emitting a diffuse light such that the diffuse light is emitted and the directed light is not emitted.
In principle, a larger area can be illuminated by a diffused light than by a directed light. In addition, in the case of illumination with a diffuse light, it is better to prevent significant differences in brightness from forming, which are an obstacle to orientation in an emergency. Therefore, the diffused light is particularly suitable as emergency lighting. In addition, the fact that the directional light is not emitted, a high Energie¬ use achieve, which is particularly important in an emergency.
Preferably, the lamp is designed such that no light is emitted from the light in the emergency operation except the diffused light. This makes it possible to achieve a particularly good use of the energy available in an emergency.
Preferably, the lamp is designed such that at a provided for operation of the lamp orientation of the lamp by the means for emitting a diffuse light, the diffused light is emitted into the lower half-space. In this way, in the event of an emergency, a corresponding illumination of a floor area below the luminaire can be achieved, which is of particular importance for an orientation in an emergency.
Preferably, the means for emitting a directional light on a first Licht¬quelle and the means for emitting a diffused light, a second light source, which is not identical to the first light source. As a result, the control can be made particularly simple in an emergency.
Preferably, the first light source and / or the second light source comprise an LED light source with at least one LED. In this case, the control is particularly suitable in an emergency.
Preferably, the lamp further comprises a lamp housing, in which both the first light source, and the second light source are arranged. As a result, a particularly simple construction and easy installation of the luminaire are made possible.
Preferably, the luminaire further comprises a first light emitting area through which the directional light is emitted and a second light emitting area over which the diffused light is emitted. Further preferably, the second light emitting area is formed surrounding the first light emitting area, in particular annularly enclosing. Hereby, in an emergency, a light output is allowed, which starts from a comparatively large area.
Preferably, the luminaire further comprises a lens element for generating a direction limitation of the directional light and / or a diffusely acting optical element for generating a scattering of the diffused light. In this way, the directed Lichtbzw. make the diffused light particularly suitable.
Particularly, the lamp is when it is formed in the form of a pendant lamp.
The invention will be explained in more detail below with reference to an embodiment and with reference to the drawings. 1 shows a schematic cross-sectional sketch of a luminaire according to the invention, and [0018] FIG. 2 shows a view from below of a section of the luminaire.
Fig. 1 shows a schematic cross-sectional view of a luminaire according to the invention. The luminaire comprises means 1 for emitting a directed light L1, and means 2 for emitting a diffused light L2. As indicated by small arrows in the drawing, the diffused light L2 is emitted to a much larger solid angle range than the directed light L1.
Preferably, the means 1 for emitting a directed light L1 comprise a first light source 10 and the means 2 for emitting a diffused light L2 a second light source 20 which is not identical to the first light source 10. In the example shown, the first light source 10 comprises an LED light source with at least one LED; In particular, the first light source 10 may be formed by the LED light source having at least one LED. The second light source 20 in the example shown comprises a further LED light source with at least one further LED; In particular, the second light source 20 can also be correspondingly formed by the further LED light source. In the example shown, the LEDs of the first light source 10 and the further LEDs of the second light source 20 are arranged like a matrix, preferably in a horizontal plane.
Furthermore, the lamp has a control device 3, which is designed to drive the means 1 for emitting a directed light L1 and the means 2 for emitting a diffused light L2. In this case, the control device 3 is designed, in particular, to activate, in an emergency operation of the luminaire, the directional light delivery means L1 and the diffused light emission means L2 such that the diffused light L2 is emitted and the directional light L1 is not emitted. The diffused light L2 is particularly suitable for emergency lighting in comparison with the directional light L1, since it can in principle uniformly illuminate a larger area, in particular ground area, which is advantageous for orientation in an emergency.
The luminaire is thus designed to be operated on the one hand in a normal operation with a normal power supply and on the other hand in an emergency in a Notbe¬trieb, in which the normal power supply is not available, with a Notstromversor qunq. The normal power supply may be, for example, an AC
Supply in the emergency power supply to a DC power supply, which is provided for example by a central battery.
In terms of energy, it can be provided that the power with which the means 2 for emitting a diffuse light L2 is operated in an emergency by the control device is reduced compared with the normal operation of the luminaire. In particular, the activation can be such that in the event of an emergency, a minimum illumination predetermined by a corresponding standard is ensured.
In the example shown, the lamp is designed as a pendant lamp. She has hierzueine a suspension device, for example in the form of a rope 5. The design is Dabeiderart that when provided for operation of the lamp orientation of the light emitted by the means 2 for emitting a diffused light L2, the diffused light L2 in the lower half-space, ie down, as in Fig. 1 by a Arrow u indicated. In this way, in an emergency, a floor area located under the luminaire can be particularly suitably illuminated.
Energetically particularly advantageous can be provided that the light in the emergency mode except the diffused light no further light is emitted. For example, the luminaire may further comprise means for generating an indirect illumination, which are also not activated in the emergency mode by the control device 3. Indirect lighting is not mandatory for an emergency orientation and rather less helpful.
In the example shown, the lamp is designed so that it has a first Lichtabgabebe¬reich 12 through which the directional light L1 is emitted, and a second Lich¬tabgabebereich 22 through which the diffused light L2 is delivered.
In Fig. 2 is a view from below of a portion of the lamp is sketched. The first light emitting area 12 and the second light emitting area 22 are recognized.
As in this example, the case of the second light emitting area 22, the first Lich¬tabgabebereich 12 formed surrounding, in particular annularly enclosing.
The luminaire can also be designed so that - as in Fig. 2 rudimentarily indicated - a plurality of corresponding first light emitting areas 12, 12 'and a plurality of corresponding second light emitting areas 22, 22' are formed, wherein the lamp has a plurality of modules in that each of the modules in each case has a first light-emitting region 12, 12 'and a second light-emitting region 22, 22' formed around it in the shape of a frame.
As outlined in Fig. 1, it can be provided that the lamp has at least one Linsen¬element 15 for generating a directional limitation of the directional light L1 and / or einiffus acting optical element 25 for generating a scattering of the diffused light L2aufweist. In the example shown, the first light source 10 has a plurality of LEDs, wherein each of the LEDs is associated with a lens element 15. The optical element 25 for generating a scattering may, for example, be formed by a particularly horizontally oriented diffuser.
Preferably, the lamp further comprises an operating device connected to the control device for powering the first light source 10 and the second light source 20. In this case, the design is such that the luminaire switches over to an emergency current operation as a function of the external current provided or the external voltage supply. For example, the design may be such that in a standard case, the operating device is supplied on the input side with an alternating current and in an emergency with a direct current, as mentioned, for example, from a central battery. Accordingly, the design is preferably further as follows: If the AC input is changed into a DC supply at the input side, the control device 3 automatically switches from the normal mode to the emergency mode, ie the first light source 10 is switched off and the second light source 20 becomes or stays on. The optionally provided indirect lighting is also switched off.
In the case of a lighting arrangement with a plurality of lights according to the invention, as known per se, be provided for the power supply, a central battery; However, as an alternative, it may also be provided that a corresponding battery or an accumulator is provided for this purpose in the luminaire or in each of the luminaires.
